I love the looks of a Jeep M38 A1 (or the older CJs), I admire the capabilities of a Toyota FJ 40, all of these trusted old 4x4s... they are just great! But in my eyes, none of them comes anywhere near a Series Land Rover with all its charm. Got the "Landy bug" when I was about 5 years old (I'm still keeping my first toy Landy). Took me about 45 years to get one. Last weekend 3 friends visited me. I let them drive the beauty. You should have seen the smiles on their faces! Just as your vids put a smile on my face. Merci beaucoup!

This landrover I enjoyed 5 years my childhood. My papa, used it to maintenance 220 kv power feeder. TDP. In TJV indus river company Pak.

Know this is an older video but if your still on UA-cam, The vdo tachometer guage, Can you share the configuration of the 3 switches on the back of it for a tdi to work, I have one and can't figure out how to get it properly working Thanks

Lot's of helpful advice below but I would just like to point out, there is a dozen or so things that can cause steering wobble. Each of the answers below has worked for them but their problem may not be your problem. In fact, you may have more than one issue. Basically anything connected to the front axle, either directly or indirectly can cause wobble. Start with an inspection, worn track rod ends and drag link ends, check the Panhard Rod bushes, steering damper bushes, remove and check the steering damper, check the wheel bearings and king pin bearings, check the radius arm bushes. Check the brake calipers and disks. All these can be checked by an owner, look for You Tube videos for guidance. All this can be done without spending money. If you find a worn part, change it but remember it may be more than one thing. Start with the thought that it didn't do it when it left the factory, so something has worn out. The things that wear out are anything rubber, then bearings and bushes including swivel ends. If all those are good and your wheels are balanced it will drive like it did when it left the factory.
